Berlin.

Oh dear. I'm happily married to London but I think I might be at the start of an affair with Berlin...

SPRING BREAK.

Term 2 is finally over, wraaahhhh! 4 terms to go until graduation. So, it's time to muck about in Photoshop to my heart's content, visit cousin Gunther in Berlin, hangout in The Netherlands for some oldskool SDK-ing but most of all it's time to dress up like a drag-queen-maquillage-sporting-terror-clown and crash hard. Enjoy your well deserved break all, and everyone else; see you soon. x

Margot Bowman.

These photos that I took of her don't do her loveliness and originality justice.

Context inspiration.

End of term rant.

My MBP crashed last week. Great timing. I'm now in my rehearsal/deadline week and this completely messed up my routine. It's actually a bit ridiculous; even though I've managed to borrow a MB for the week, (big thanks to Marcus & Tyrone) I'm nervous and can't eat or sleep right. I've had to re-photograph most of my work and redesign my presentation, not to mention the agony of having to re-write context. Can you see the big, angry raised up middle finger growing out of my forehead yet? Thankfully my presentation rehearsal went reasonably well today. (see selection of pdf thumbnails below, don't pay attention to the rubbish blurbs.) Now I'm going to finish context and get rid of this god-awful feeling in my belly. DO IT DO IT DO IT!

This weekend made me feel exactly like this. :)

BNZLDN's 26th Birthday + 1 year in Brixton + DMZ 5th Birthday Bash = 6 hours non stop dub celebration.

Oh my days, I couldn't have asked for a more banging place to celebrate my birthday!! We went to DMZ @ Mass, which is literally around the corner from my house. The lineup was insanely filthy: Digital Mystikz, Loefah, Benga, Skream, Hatcha, N-Type, Pinch, Chef, Joe Nice, Instramental, Oneman, Joy Orbison, Oris Jay, Zed Bias and then some Brrrrrrraaaap! Thanks to my uber couragous German friends Vanessa and Peggy we were able to jump the 1.5 hour que. (We nearly shat our pants though, feeling 400 cross pairs of eyes burning in your back is not for the faint hearted haha.) Inside and outside the vibe was nothing less than onelove, the crowd was a mad likeminded beast, I hugged more strangers than I can remember. My good friend and fellow basshead Clyde got on the plane to celebrate and had his DMZ cherry popped this night. We shook hands with Mala and Hatcha and witnessed Coki rinse his newest exclusive tunes so I don't think this night could've been any more perfect for him either. We met an Utrechter in the smoking area with whom we spent 30 minutes talking about how amazing the party was and when we came home we spent about 1.5 hour going over the fact how fucking brilliant the night was. Handsdown best dubstep gig I've been to. Thanks Clyde, QueenV, HustlerP and everyone else who was there, thanks DMZ and thanks London, you all made for the BEST BIRTHDAY EVERRRR! (so far ;) x

The Doctor's Orders presents On The Real @ Plan Brixton

A bit late I know. But I've been busy, my laptop crashed and the end of the term is near, joy!
